Ask the Bargain Shopper: Organic, black Normandy clay in Paris
Yes, we have discovered a cut-rate source in Paris for that famous black Normandy clay that normally sells for as much as $80 (USD) an ounce!

What THEY say:
This is the miraculous black Normandy clay you might have heard of! This particular line of skin products is completely organic, purified, hand-harvested and hand-refined to meet exacting standards. It is sold exclusively at ONE SHOP ONLY in Paris' 11th arrondissement.
How to use: Apply a thin layer of clay to affected areas of face, allow to dry and rinse thoroughly with copious amounts of water as hot as you can tolerate. Gently pat dry.
Key product benefits: Recommended as a skin-toner, firming treatment, to clarify and reduce enlarged pores, to refine uneven skin and to help slough off dead skin cells (exfoliant). Also effective against acne break-outs, rosacea and oily skin. May be used on dry, flakey skin if followed by an emulsifying moisturizer.
Cost: Our Paris source (where it's an exclusive) sells this wonderful product for €40 or two for €70. Mail order is not possible at this time, so you'll have to buy it in person in Paris (or ask a friend to bring some back for you).
Where to Buy:
The world-exclusive retail source for Organic Black Normandy Clay is a buy-in-person offer from La Cave de l'Insolite, 50, rue de la Folie Méricourt (corner Passage Beslay), Paris, 11th arrondissement. The owner, Michel Moulherat can make you an even better deal on bulk purchases, but last time we were in the store, there was very limited stock, so you might have to wait for M. Moulherat's next delivery from the artisans who harvest and purify this rare clay.
What WE say: How often does a product perform exactly as claimed? Aside from being a little messy to use (but I'm clever enough to take that warning to heart), this product works brilliantly, leaving skin refreshed and glowing. I find I don't want to use it more than twice a week on my skin, but it seems safe to apply as often as desired. It might seem costly -- even at the bargain price of €40 for one ounce (28 g) -- but I find that a little goes a long way. Once you've tried it, you'll want more! So it's lucky that you can get an extra discount: Two for €70 (euros).
The Verdict: Five stars!
